Last night my friend told me a bit about looking up your ‘birth map’. I, Clo, have always been one who loved the stars, signs, astrology, the works, so I knew I had to give it a shot. And oh my how accurate this thing is! It got me down to the T. I couldn’t have described myself more perfectly. It’s fascinating how our stars truly share so much about us. See my full chart HERE. Last night, I (Jeni), was enthralled with a little science! As you probably know (because I talk about it all the time on Morning Coffee), I’m a science junky. I was feeling the need to get my science on, so I searched for a documentary to watch. I found this Welcome to Mars one, and was SO happy I did! I couldn’t stop watching! I had beer in the fridge, bubbles for a bubble bath, a handsome boyfriend to spend time with, and a lightening storm outside I could have watched. But no. Jeni picks a science documentary about Mars. If that doesn’t prove my obsession, I don’t know what would!! 😉
It was fascinating, as the crew followed the dudes at NASA and JPL, as they successfully landed Spirit and Opportunity – 2 rovers that would inspect, collect and send data back to Earth from the surface of Mars. This was the endeavor that showed us there was once water on Mars!
Why is this even important? Why are we spending so much money on space exploration and rover research? Because, as Earth dies, we need to find other resources – outside of our own planet. These resources may help us keep Earth going….or keep humans alive by transplanting us. It’s a big deal.

I, Clo, have been trying to use my photography skills a lot more lately. Here are some of my FAVORITE pictures I took of the week.
Pizza Hut has their Bacon Stuffed Crust Pizza again. It’s magical and ridiculous, and I (Jeni) LOVE IT! I get the Supreme Meat Lovers with this crust, and don’t mind feeling the fat attaching to my squishy belly, because it’s SO good!

MISSING PLANE.. Yup that happened again. So this time EgyptAir has lost a flight from Paris to Cairo with 66 on board. I don’t really get how a plane that big can just go missing. This seems to be happening much more frequently though. This isn’t the first time this year a big plane has gone missing. It’s heartbreaking for the family. I’m not sure what I would do. I hope everything turns out okay — but based on the last few plane disappearances, things don’t looked that good. Read the full story HERE.

I got an alert last night on my phone about this, and was immediately intrigued. With all of our technology we have now – HOW does this happen? And this isn’t even the first plane to “disappear,” either! I’ll totally be following this story today, and praying for the passengers and families.

My son is doing a project on planets right now and he keeps telling me all the facts he’s learning. I must say, most of them I had no clue about.
Those herb pots are so cute. I’m all about growing my own herbs this season, so I’m on the lookout for cute planters to grow my herbs! These are adorable.

That documentary does sound really interesting. I didn’t know what exactly the goals were for exploring Mars. I’m loving the pictures Clo.
Love your “Memories last forever” sign. It’s super cute! As for what are my favorite documentaries…my entire family loves watching documentaries about sea life and animals. My daughter gets a kick out of watching the bears and lions and trying to copy their roars.

Yes it’s scary when planes disappear. I’d hope we have better tracking technology on them by now. Hope they find those people.
Another missing plane?! How? Seriously, how?! Considering Neil Armstrong went to SPACE with less technology than we now have in a standard smart phone, losing a plane should be impossible.
I would have loved one of those scooters when I was little. I need one in my size now. It would be great for getting around campus.
My dad can do predictions from the birth map! we use birth maps a lot in our custom, but these days the belief is not as high as the previous generations. I like some of your other features here as well 🙂
