Hey! We’re so happy you’re spending your Friday morning with us! Grab a cup of coffee (or tea), sit back, and chill out for a bit with us this morning!
We’ll meet you every weekday morning, right here on the blog, around 7am CST (5am PST, 8am EST) to share a cup of joe with you, talk about what’s on our minds, sneak in some awesome deals we spot, talk about our meal plans for the day, and anything else that comes up! Feel free to chat it up in the comment section, and tell us how you’re feeling, what’s going on with your life, current events, things you’re excited about or bummed out about, and anything else you want to chit-chat about. Not sure who we are? Head over to Meet The Ladies, to meet Jeni, and Reviews by Clo to meet Chloe (you can call her “Clo”!)
Did you miss us yesterday, or any other day this week? Catch up and keep the conversation going by stopping over HERE!
Now….refill that coffee and let’s get to chatting with our Morning Coffee!
My boyfriend, Bryan, and I don’t have kids, and aren’t having kids. But we thought it would be fun to see what our kids would look like. Man, that was an adventure! I uploaded different pictures of us on MakeMeBabies.com. The results were not only hilarious, but pretty shocking! Check it out:
The hair on this kid makes her look like she’s wearing a cape. She looks like a little Ukranian girl to us!
Bryan said this is “the milkman’s baby.” 🙂 He doesn’t even remotely look like EITHER of us!
Those cheeks! that poor little baby looks like a chipmunk!
Is she wearing a towel on her head? Who gardens while wearing a towel…our kid, apparently.
Now THIS is a cute baby! This is our best creation, out of all of them, for sure – don’t you agree?
So, it was a fun experience and we got a lot of giggles out of it. They are definitely more like morph-babies, rather than what a real baby would look like, but that’s what makes it so much fun! 🙂
If you don’t have kids, try this site! If you do, try it and see how much your kids look like the images!

That right there….that’s magic in a bottle. It’s a mystical, delectable treat that should really only be found in Narnia. My (Jeni) boyfriend brought this home last night. I had heard of Cookie Butter, but never had it before. He told me it tasted like, “melting gingerbread men,” and he was RIGHT! Holy moly, guys – I think it’s my new favorite thing in the world!
Have you tried Cookie Butter?
If you know me (Jeni) at all, you know my obsession with Paleontology and dinosaurs. Read more about my discoveries and passion HERE and HERE. My wonderful friend’s daughter has wanted to be a paleontologist since she was 3. She is only 7, and has known what she wants to be for 4 years. That’s more than a lot of adults can say for themselves! She drew this picture of herself digging up bones at an excavation site. Could it be ANY cuter or cooler? I don’t think so!
What do your kids want to be when they grow up?
What at-home machine would you like to see in your kitchen?
Mexican Sliders with Jalapeño Salsa and Queso. Do we really need to say anything else? What an amazing little treat to grill up on the BBQ this weekend! Check out the full recipe at My Blessed Southern Life!
Here’s a feel good, happy Friday news story for you! This girl, Destyni Tyree, is 16 years old, just graduated from high school with a 4.0 GPA, and is HOMELESS!
Not only did she graduate 2 years early, she was a cheerleader, prom queen and got a ton of academic awards. Even more than that, she just got a full ride scholarship to West Virginia’s Potomac State University. WOW!
She lives with her mom in Washington D.C.’s largest homeless shelter, and she did ALL OF THIS herself. Unbelievable! Now that’s true grit and determination. She made goals and she achieved them. And now she has a chance to really shine in University and make a wonderful life for herself. This story makes me (Jeni) feel really good and hopeful for the youth of America!
These funny parent tweets had us cracking up this morning! Go HERE to read all of them!
