The Take Along kit includes 37 Colorforms pieces, a tri-fold with 2 backgrounds and is in a self-contained package with pocket storage and a handle at the top for convenient travel. This is too cool. Not only are there TONS of different pieces with lots of different characters, the boards are so much fun, with great colors and realistic scenes. These are especially great for taking to the babysitters, traveling and toting around with your child, because you don’t have to find somewhere to store them!
It’s especially fun for my nephew to be able to incorporate two of his favorite character groups into his own storyline. Imagine the fun he has with Avengers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the same storyboards! It can get a little crazy, that’s for sure. But, his imagination is running wild, and he spends hours and hours playing with the Colorforms. I love that he can collect more boards and more re-stickable sticker packs to create entire cities and “movies” out of – including all of his favorite cartoons and characters! The stickers are great, because they are thick and durable, and really do re-stick very well. I was worried that they would attract hair and lint, as most stickers would, but Colorforms doesn’t because they aren’t actual stickers – they are a smooth vinyl! These are so much fun, I found myself stealing them from my nephew to play with, myself!
