Apple Maple Pound Cake
This delicious little cake is filled with sweet apple and warm maple flavors - it's absolutely perfect!
Ingredients

maple syrup

milk

finely diced and peeled apple
about 1 medium apple

Maple Glaze

powdered sugar
sifted

tablespoon
milk or water
1
teaspoon
maple syrup OR maple flavoring
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In your mixer, beat the butter and sugar until soft and fluffy.
Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Beat in vanilla, maple, and maple syrup.
In a medium bowl, sift salt, baking powder, and flour.
Alternate addition of flour mixture and milk, little bits at a time, starting and ending with the flour mixture.
Combine diced apple and flour until coated.
Fold into batter.Lightly spray loaf molds or pan, then tossed a very light amount of flour to coat.
Fill each loaf mold 3/4 full with batter, or fill loaf pan.
Bake 20-28 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean. Bake 50-60 minutes for a single loaf.
Cool on a rack in the pan. Once completely cool, then gently take out of the molds.
Mix the sifted powdered sugar, milk, and maple extract until completely combined and smooth.
Dip tops of each loaf in the maple glaze.
Set to dry.
