These amazing little cupcakes will definitely give you that lucious, creamy, sweet strawberry milkshake vibe. Be careful - you'll probably get addicted quickly!
Ingredients
1box strawberry cake mix
3eggs + 1 egg yolk
1/2cupmelted butter
1cupwater
1/2cupmalted milk powderI use Carnation
STRAWBERRY MILKSHAKE WHIPPED CREAM
2cupsheavy whipping cream
1/3cuppowdered sugar
13.3oz box Sonic Strawberry Milkshake Pudding Mix (or 1/2 cup + 1 T strawberry milk powder)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350.
Place cupcake liners in muffin pan and grease lightly.
In a bowl with a whisk, combine the cake ingredients and beat until just mixed.
Fill each cupcake liner 3/4 full of batter and bake for 15-21 minutes.
MAKE THE WHIPPED CREAM
Place mixing bowl and beater in the freezer for 2 minutes.
Remove, and beat heavy whipping cream until it just starts to thicken.
Add pudding mix and powdered sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
Frost your cupcakes, and garnish with more whipped cream, sprinkles, and a fun straw!
Notes
I made a 1/2 batch of regular whipped cream to top my cupcakes - 1 cup heavy whipping cream + 2.5 T powdered sugar.
