What to expect on sale in May

It’s MAY!  This month brings us some fun sales and yummy new produce deals.  So, what can we expect to see on sale this month?  TONS OF THINGS!  It’s the kickoff of the camping, picnic, family reunion, Memorial Day, Mother’s Day and baseball game season.  Woohoo!  Watch for sale prices on summer wear (think flip-flops, t-shirts, swim suits, etc.), travel and luggage deals and laptop/ipad cases.
In the past, we’ve gotten some pretty awesome Kraft & Kellogg’s product promotions, with great coupons to go with them!
What else?  What’s on sale in May? Here you go!

What to expect on sale in MayMother’s Day:  It’s time to honor Mom!  We’ll see prices drop on chocolates, perfumes, greeting cards, small appliances, aprons, foot spas, facial treatments, massaging chair pads and anything else that can pamper Mom.  Flowers will also be a huge deal this month, not just because of Mother’s Day, but because we see new flowers start to bloom in May.  We’ll get some great deals on lilies and orchids, and later in the month, watch for nice prices on roses!  Check out the Mother’s Day Flower Delivery and Bouquet Deals, and 20 DIY Mother’s Day Gift posts!

What to expect on sale in MayCinco de Mayo:  Who’s ready for a fiesta!?  Cinco de Mayo deals start the week before this big celebration, and run through May 5th.  We’ll get great coupons to match with deals on a lot of items including:  tequila, tortillas, cheese, salsa & hot sauces, beans, taco seasonings, frozen burritos & tacos and anything else Mexican food related.

What to expect on sale in MayMemorial Day:  It seems like we gear up for this big weekend for the entire month!  We’ll get coupons AND deals for things like condiments, meat, sausages, marinades, BBQ sauce, pickles, salad dressing, buns, picnic supplies, soda, ice cream, frozen treats and anything BBQ or outdoor cooking related.  We’ll see sweet prices on BBQ’s, grilling utensils and picnic supplies! Memorial Day is May 25th.

What to expect on sale in MaySummer’s Coming:  This month introduces warmer weather, so retailers are anxious to pull out the new summer items!  We will get awesome deals on sunscreen, pool toys, allergy medications, mosquito repellants, lawn & garden care, Band-Aids, shaving items, sports drinks and more!  Watch for great cheapies and freebies on a lot of these items at the drugstores (CVS, Rite Aid & Walgreens) with big rewards for purchasing!  During the middle of may, we’ll grab some awesome outdoor furniture sales, too!
What to expect on sale in MayWedding season:  It’s the kickoff of wedding season!  Watch for great deals on everything wedding related, AND for gift-giving ideas!  We often get awesome deals on small houseware items (coffee makers, toasters, blenders, vacuums, etc.) and we’ll also get nice prices on dinnerware and silverware!
