’tis the season for gathering to watch football, entertaining guests with parties and road trips to visit family. Most likely, every one of those will include canned beverages. Whether it’s your favorite beer, sparkling waters or sodas, you need Smarter-Seal! This is one of those products you never knew you needed so badly – and can’t live without after you use it. It keeps bugs and debris out of your beverages, stops spills, and even keeps drinks from going flat! This holiday season, you and everyone you know can benefit from Smarter-Seal in their stocking!
William Battaglia watched a stranger wiping off the top of his beverage can with his t-shirt before drinking it. This stoked an innovative idea in William. He created an inexpensive, simple solution to every day problems that come from drinking from a can. These are lids that cover the entire cover of the can to keep them safe, bug-free, clean, and even preserve carbonation.
Just pop a Smarter-Seal over the top of any beverage can. That’s it! You can even use it with a straw, which is great for kids. In fact, with the Smarter-Seal, spills are a thing of the past. The lids are FDA-approved plastic and have no BPAs. Plus, they are reusable and recyclable. Throw a few in your glove compartment of your car for when you’re on-the-go. Take them camping, hiking, to the beach, and on picnics to keep bugs out of your drinks. And be sure to have some on hand for guests at your outdoor parties, too! They even come in different colors, so you’ll never wonder which can is yours.
Canned beverages are always more inexpensive than bottles. I’ve jumped on the sparkling/carbonated seltzer water craze, and find myself buying 12-packs of them instead of soda. But cans aren’t very travel friendly! This is another reason that I fell in love with Smarter-Seal – you can pop the lid on, then toss the can in a backpack or purse. It won’t spill, which means your can is now mobile just like with the more expensive bottles! Plus, they are super lightweight, so I can keep a couple in my purse (and my glove compartment) all the time.
Living in Texas, I know bugs. It’s nearly impossible to stand around at an outdoor BBQ or head out to the lake, with sodas or beer. Those little critters might vary in size, but they sure do love sweet beverages! I absolutely love that I can be free to enjoy a canned drink, and not even think about bugs getting into them now. No more bugs, bacteria or contamination with Smarter-Seal!
Because the Smarter-Seal covers the entire lid tightly, you’ll be able to preserve the carbonation in your sodas and sparkling waters, too! I can attest to the fact that it literally does hold in the carbonation in your fizzy drinks. I was skeptical, but had to try… and one of my seltzers sat in the fridge, 1/2 of a can full, for 4 days with a Smarter-Seal lid on. When I took it out and poured it into a glass, it fizzed as if I had just opened the can. It really kept the fizz! I’m really impressed and honestly blown away.
These would make awesome gift basket fillers, stocking stuffers and gifts for friends and families that enjoy canned drinks. It’s a simple concept that William really evolved into a brilliant product that just about every household can use. It will maintain hygiene, prevent spills and save you money in the long run. Pretty genius, right?

We need this!! My son is always spilling drinks
YES! Honestly, Marisela – get some. You’ll wonder how you lived without them!
What a great idea!
Seriously – awesome idea! I can’t even believe how well it stops spills and keeps fizzy drinks FIZZY!!
I can’t drink a whole can of soda at a time either, and I don’t like wasting anything!! I would love this when I am outside. I have even had a bee ???? sting me in a mouth after I drank from a diet soda can! So besides keeping the soda from going flat, and keep the top of the can clean, my favorite part is keeping bugs out! Thank goodness, I was not allergic to bee stings! These would make a great bridal shower gift too. I pinned this and shared on my Facebook page. Thank you for sharing!!
This is such a simple idea but a great one!
