Each box comes with a great pamphlet that highlights several things for you. First, you’ll learn about the history of the theme of the box. For example, the August box this year featured body art and graphite sketching. I learned about the first writing instruments, the discovery of graphite, and that the juice from a jaguar fruit has been used for body adornment for millennia! It’s packed with great information, history, knowledge and fun tidbits, so that you can better appreciate the project.
The project tools are highlighted in the pamphlet, so you know exactly what you’re getting, and how you’ll use it. The project pointers are definitely important, especially for the curious, not-so-artistic people like me! It helped give me some confidence, and made me feel like I could actually create some beautiful art. Those pointers guide and direct you to making the project the best it can be. It’s like having a trained artist standing behind you, offering advice. Pretty cool, right?
