Orange Creamsicle Cupcakes

Not many things scream “SUMMER” more than an orange creamsicle. That fresh, tangy orange with a creamy, soft vanilla…. it’s the perfect combination! And that means it makes for the perfect cupcake, too! Plus, it’s super simple to make and really, really nails the creamsicle flavor.

WHAT YOU NEED:

CUPCAKE

  • 1 box French Vanilla cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup butter (melted & cooled)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract or vanilla paste

FROSTING

MAKE THEM:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and place liners in cupcake tin.

Combine all cake ingredients and mix until just combined.

Fill each cupcake liner 3/4 full of batter.

Bake 13-18 minutes or until golden on top and a toothpick comes out clean.

Allow to cool completely.

FROSTING

Chill your mixing bowl and beater for about 3 minutes in the freezer.

Beat the butter for around 5 minutes on medium-high speed.

Slowly add powdered sugar, then whipping cream.

Add orange drink mix one at a time until you get the flavor you want.

Frost, then prepare to make another batch, because these will go QUICKLY!

These delicious, tart and creamy cupcakes are the perfect summer treat - and SO simple to make!

  • 1-2 tablespoons milk or heavy cream
  • 4-5 Sunkist Zero Sugar Single to Go Drink Mix Packets

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and place liners in cupcake tin.
  • Combine all cake ingredients and mix until just combined.
  • Fill each cupcake liner 3/4 full of batter.
