Grab a cup of coffee (or tea), sit back, and chill out for a bit with us this morning!  We’re so happy you joined us for our morning coffee!  We’ll meet you every weekday morning, right here on the blog, around 9am CST (7am PST, 10am EST) to share a cup of joe with you, talk about what’s on our minds, sneak in some awesome deals we spot, talk about our meal plans for the day, and anything else that comes up!  Feel free to chat it up in the comment section, and tell us how you’re feeling, what’s going on with your life, current events, things you’re excited about or bummed out about, and anything else you want to chit-chat about.

Now….refill that coffee and let’s get to chatting with our Morning Coffee!

Good Monday morning, everyone!  I (Sarah) saw this news, and had to share!  If you grew up in the 80s, you’ll definitely appreciate it, too.  Atari is making HOTELS! There will be 8 total, in 8 different cities (Phoenix, Austin, Chicago, Vegas, San Fransisco, San Jose, and Seattle). They will have e-sports studios (what are those!?) and game rooms, too.

There will even be AR and VR playgrounds – which is just too cool.  Plus, hotels will have meeting rooms, co-working spaces, restaurants, bars, a bakery, a movie theater, and a gym.  Too cool!

Read more about it HERE.

What’s the coolest hotel or Airbnb you’ve stayed in?

If you’re on social media, no doubt you’ve seen the  Dolly Parton challenge on Facebook and Instagram!  It’s one of those trending social media things that goes in like a bang and leaves like a flash.  I (Jeni) normally don’t really join in, because I just enjoy sitting on the sidelines…but this one, I had to!  You can catch up by searching #dollyparton or #dollypartonchallenge

I decided to use some of the trolls from my collection… which cracks me up!  I LOVE IT!  Look at how CUTE they are!!!  hehehe!! See my post HERE!

So, how did this trend get started? From Dolly, of course!  She posted this (below) and it kicked on a huge, viral trend!

This Mister Rogers Tee is just $19 shipped – and it’s definitely unique and nostalgic, isn’t it!?

These scarves come in ten different patterns, each for just $14.99!  They look SO cozy!!

This might just be the coolest Star Wars coffee mug EVER! It’s $14.99 and the handle is a light saber!

I (Sarah) am obsessed with Jelly Belly jelly beans, but now I’m even more obsessed with their new line of sparkling waters. With 0 calories, 0 sugar, 0 sweeteners, and 0 sodium, these could definitely be my new favorite way to consume water. I want to try Orange Sherbet and Pink Grapefruit first. Unfortunately, they are only available at Hy-Vee stores… but will be online soon.

Which flavors do you fancy?

It’s baking season – but isn’t it ALWAYS baking season? 😉 It is for me (Jeni)!!  This 3-piece baking sheet set comes with some super cute cookie cutters – emojis!  How cute are these?  This would actually make a great gift for my emoji & baking obsessed little nieces!

What’s your favorite emoji?

I (Sarah) love mermaids. I recently found this adorable Mermaid Name Guide. Using the first letter of your first name, the last number in your phone number, and your birth month, you can find your mermaid name. My mermaid name is Sapphira Swift Scales, which has a strange ring to it but it’s growing on me.

Do you like mermaids? What’s your Mermaid Name?

This mug is a slam dunk!  HAHAHHA ok… that was cheesy.  But how fun is this!?  It’s a basketball mug that can be used in so many fun ways!  Think about it… crackers into chili or soup, marshmallows into hot chocolate, cereal into milk… what FUN MUG!

Do you have a favorite mug? Tell us about it!

Now this… this is right up my (Sarah) alley! It’s a Mister rogers magnetic dress up set! It comes with 2 sheets of magnetic accessories, so you can play with them on your fridge, or anywhere else. Plus, you can also grab one featuring Jesus or Einstein! HAHAHA! SO FUN!

What’s the silliest thing you’ve purchased lately?

Last week, we made Chocolate Covered Cherry Cookies – but this week, it’s all about those Cherry Bonbon Cookies!  These are so much fun because of the white chocolate & cherry candy coating on top, yummy sugar cookie that surrounds the cherry, and of course-  they are adorable!

The basketball cereal bowl is so much fun! My kids would be spending more time playing than eating though.

Those Atari hotels look so awesome! I know my kids would love to watch some esports at them.

  22. My version of “I know what I have to do, but don’t know if I have the strength to do it” includes cleaning the chicken coop and taking out the compost. I’ve only done one of those today.

I think that is so awesome Atari is building hotels. Sounds like a fun place to stay!
