I (Sarah) love animals of all types, but monkeys have a special place in my heart. I recently heard about this monkey that “adopted” a stray puppy dog in India and the pictures are so cute you just have to stop and smile when you see or hear about the two of them together. The monkey is a Rhesus Macaque and the dog is an abandoned stray puppy. The monkey has taken on the mother role for the little puppy and carries the dog with him everywhere, including when he’s climbing trees. It seems like these two have learned how to live together, it’s like something out of a Disney movie, only cuter!

Have you ever seen two different species of animals interact with each other?

This, friends, is the Date Night Wheel!  Obviously, it wasn’t my (Jeni) idea – I got it from a post on Facebook where some guy put restaurants on a See & Say.  When his girlfriend couldn’t decide what to eat, he would spin it!

Bryan and I have date night every Friday night. It’s our time to unwind together and get that quality relationship bonding stuff into our busy lives on a  consistent basis. So, we took the idea and ran with it! We even have a “phone a friend” spot, so we can call a friend and do whatever they suggest for date night! In the Wild Card folder, there are about 10 other ideas, like bowling, go for a drive in the country (there’s a lot of that in Texas!), play pool & darts, watch the airplanes at the airport….stuff like that.

It should be a lot of fun planning date night every week now! GRAB ONE HERE FOR under $20!

What date night suggestion should we add to it!? screen-shot-2017-01-06-at-8-07-17-am

If you have an anxious dog, or a puppy in training…. you’ve gotta check this out!  It’s Snuggle Puppy – a heated stuffed animal that has a heartbeat, mimicking being in the womb, so your dog feels more comfortable and calm!  It’s just $39.95!

These Sterling Silver Filigree Earrings remind me (Jeni) of Brighton earrings… except these are just $15.99!

These Mandalorian tees are only about 18 bucks shipped!  CUTE!!!!

What a fun way to say, “I love you” to someone on Valentine’s Day!  But what an even more fun way for me (Jeni) to have an excuse to gift myself some happy and get some more office supplies! 🙂 Grab these flower pens for yourself!

What’s the last little “happy” you bought for yourself?

How many times have you stressed about the question, “What’s for dinner?”  You might have food in the pantry and fridge, but just don’t know what to do with it…. but that’s why I (Sarah) love SuperCook!  This website/app lets you put in the ingredients you already have, and shows you meals you can make with them!

Where do you find recipe inspiration?

This might be the coolest Disney clock ever. You use an Amazon Echo to set your reminder timers and then this clock will notify you of them, up to three timers at a time. You can also ask Alexa to set a timer for you. It’s at it’s cheapest price ever at just $37.49!

Do you have smart home devices?

Who’s hungry!?  Klondike is releasing some YUMMY new treats in March!  In fact, some have already been spotted in the freezer section – months early!  WOOHOO! They have a hole in the middle like a donut, and come in three flavors: Boston Creme, Triple Chocolate, and Frosted Strawberry!  Read more HERE!

If you have a dog, you’ll fall in love with these amazingly adorable door mats!  There are TONS of different options, each featuring different breeds.  And the best part-  they are under 10 bucks each!

Do you have a dog?  We’d love to hear about him or her!

Now this is what I (Sarah) am talking about!  Budget Asian food that only requires five ingredients and 20 minutes!  This Asian Beef & Noodles meal is exactly the type of home cooking I like – simple, quick, unique and DELICIOUS!

What’s your favorite budget meal?

  14. The monkey and dog are so cute together. I hope the dog doesn’t grow too big for the monkey to carry! I think my sister would love a doormat with a Pomeranian or Pug on it. They don’t seem to have either now, but I’ll keep checking.

  15. I think it’s adorable that the monkey is taking care of the pup. The Date Night Wheel is such a great idea. My husband and I haven’t had a date night in a while.

This post is so adorable, how I wish I could adopt a cutie one like this.

  18. I totally love the date night picker. We need to be more creative with our date nights. We tend to do the same things on a regular basis. This would also be fun to use for doing fun things with our kids on the weekends.

  19. So much fun going on here. I love those earrings and am excited about having flower pens, I love that! Also that Yoda shirt is too funny.

  20. The date wheel is good idea. I remember those toys growing up but I wonder how popular they are today. Hmm might even be harder finding a vintage one.

I’m going to try the Asian beef.
