Beautiful right? Sometimes moments like these beat everything. Over the weekend my sister and I, Clo went walking and landed at this beautiful spot. We spent hours just sitting on the log watching the waves go in and out of the ocean. The sounds of the waves are so calming and such music to my ears. What’s cool is that when we were out taking pictures there was a rainbow appear. It lasted for just a few minutes but was amazing at how the colors came out.
Unfortunately, none of those pictures saved. Yet, I took one this picture of my sister on the log and I posted it on my social media pages. One of the local hotel companies asked if they could use my image on their wall! How cool right? I’m beyond blessed and still am amazed at how the colors came out and how the waves look in this picture. It’s perfect.
Tell me about one of favorite pictures you took recently?
Please tell me (Jeni) that you guys have seen this trailer, and are looking forward to seeing this movie! Bad Moms comes out July 29, this year. I’m not a mom, but I’m definitely looking forward to seeing this movie! Not only does it look hilarious, the actresses in it are the perfect fit for quirky, silly and totally outrageous moms. I REALLY hope that the trailer isn’t showing all of the best parts of the movie – because that’s always a disappointment!
I know I’ll be munching on my overly buttered popcorn, sipping my gigantic Cherry Coke and laughing hysterically with my sister in the air conditioned theatre when it is released. It’s definitely one movie I’m excited to see this year, and after my experience with the new XMEN movie, I think I deserve it!
Are you planning to see this movie? Are there any other movies you are looking forward to seeing this Summer?

I (Jeni) love sending flowers. Last week, my grandparents received a surprise of White Oriental Lilies in the mail, from The Bouqs. This is my favorite company for flower delivery service, and after hearing them rave on about the flowers they got, my feelings were validated once again. They arrived in beautiful buds, and gramma had to put them in 3 other vases because they bloomed so beautifully this week! If you ever want to send flowers, check out The Bouqs!
Do you know someone that could use some beautiful flowers to brighten their day?

Every year, my (Jeni) sister and I trade wish lists for Christmas. We were using a site called Kaboodle – but when that shut down, we had to find another online wish list maker, and we found one! WishMindr is so cool! When I’m browsing stores online and find something I want, I just click the +Wish button in my toolbar now, and it adds the link to whatever wish list I want! What a great way to never forget the things you want to put on your wish list every year, right?
Do you create wish lists?
Check out this super easy one pot pasta! I, Clo made it for dinner last night. Super yummy!
So, how many of our readers live in these areas? If you do I’m sure you’ve heard about the deadly heat wave hitting the southwest. Global warming has been very wicked this year and last and I’m scared to see what it’ll bring next year.
A lethal, record-setting heat wave has hit the southwestern United States. So far four people have been killed in Arizona. At least three large wildfires are burning in the region, covering an area larger than Paris. And over 30 million people are under heat warnings or advisories.
Ew ew ew. *gags* Bleck! Those are my thoughts. I’m a Winter girl all the way. I live in Texas, and LOVE this state, but the weather here… I’m constantly saying, “Go home, Texas, you’re drunk.”
I spoke to my Grandparents in California this weekend, and they said it was in the 90’s in my hometown. That’s NOT normal at all. They actually have to plan their days around the weather now, and go to the store or get errands done later in the day, when it starts to cool off. I thought that was so weird, because that’s what we do here in the Lone Star State – try to get things taken care of outside in the early morning or after the sun goes down!
I sure hope we don’t see any heat injuries or deaths this year from the heat. That always worries me, especially because a lot of places in California don’t have air conditioning. I woke up and kissed my A/C this morning, because I’m so thankful for it!
It might not be Halloween, but this just never gets old!
