Grab a cup of coffee (or tea), sit back, and chill out for a bit with us this morning! We’re so happy you joined us for our morning coffee! We’ll meet you every weekday morning, right here on the blog, around 7am CST (5am PST, 8am EST) to share a cup of joe with you, talk about what’s on our minds, sneak in some awesome deals we spot, talk about our meal plans for the day, and anything else that comes up! Feel free to chat it up in the comment section, and tell us how you’re feeling, what’s going on with your life, current events, things you’re excited about or bummed out about, and anything else you want to chit-chat about. Not sure who we are? Head over to Meet The Ladies, to meet Jeni, and Reviews by Clo to meet Chloe (you can call her “Clo”!)
Did you miss us yesterday, or any other day this week? Catch up and keep the conversation going by stopping over HERE!
Now….refill that coffee and let’s get to chatting!
So, a couple of weeks ago, I (Jeni) showed off my Squishy in a very brave move to share a little more of myself with you guys. Maybe you didn’t need to see or read about THAT much Jeni, but that’s what you got! If you missed that post, check it out, and show some love for squishy bellies!
I’m SO tired of being chubby and having that stupid Squishy. I’ve been working out regularly, and am starting to see results! I really expect that after a crazy tough workout where I sweat more liquid than I have consumed in the last 3 days, and walk around the next day like a baby deer on ice because my muscles are so fatigued, that I would wake up a pants size smaller. Don’t we ALL expect that? Stupid calories. HMMPFF! But, I kept it up, and results are starting to show. I’m super excited!
I’m lucky enough to have a body conscious, weight-lifting, brick house of a boyfriend that knows the right kinds of workouts I need. He introduced me to some Kettlebell exercises….which I love and hate at the same time. That stuff is KILLER. I am also super happy that I have a great friend in Portland that works out with me via Skype! We dance and workout “together” until we can’t possibly sweat anymore, every day. After Morning Coffee this morning (and every morning), I’ll be out walking the neighborhood for a little more cardio. I have a great view of downtown Fort Worth on my walk, so hopefully I’ll remember to snap a pic and share it with you guys! Oh yah, I’m in full force with this!
Your days are numbered, Squishy.
My friend and I listen to awesome 80’s music when we workout together. Have you seen the video to one of the best workout songs EVER – Eye of the Tiger? It’s REALLY, REALLY bad! It’s hilariously horrible. Check it out!
What are your favorite workouts?
AHHH!! Less than a week and my toes will be covered in that sand right there! Plus, I’ll be a married women. I’m so excited. If you all haven’t been following along, I, Clo, am getting married this Saturday. Can you believe it?! Where has the time gone. And for our honeymoon we are heading to Maui. It’s been years since I’ve been there and can’t wait to go back. I love Maui, it’s so beautiful and peaceful. For two nights we’ll be staying at the Sheraton Maui and for the other 4 we’ll be staying at an amazing vacation rental in Kihei. We got lots of fun things planned and I’ll be sharing them with you throughout the course of this week and next. I’ll also be taking some time off for the wedding and honeymoon, so I’ll leave you in good hands with Jeni and will send some stuff so you all know what’s going on with Clo! I’ll be sure to take a lot of pictures and share them with you when I get back.

Ok, good. Then I (Jeni) will just leave this right here, then! 🙂
Is there anyone that you could look at all day??
I (Jeni) want to go rollerskating. Doesn’t that sound like a BLAST!? Roller rinks aren’t very popular anymore….but I could totally go for an ICEE, crappy hot dog, and getting my boogy on while rolling around under a disco light! i was shopping for inline skates, and found these AWESOME 4-wheel Roller Skates for adults. I think I’m in love!
Would you rock some roller skates?
Check out those flavors!!! One of my (Jeni) favorite things in this world (besides Shemar Moore, and bacon, of course) is a uniquely flavored coffee. Brew La La Coffee makes the most awesome flavors of coffee you’ll ever have! Seriously….check out my review, and then treat yourself!
How ridiculously good do these ribs look? Oh yah, this is cooking in Jeni’s kitchen tonight! Check out the recipe HERE!
What’s cooking in your kitchen today?
Wow! 40 years later.. I, Clo, always love putting on my investigation hat and it’s cases like these that really peak my interest. Bernard “Bunny” Ross Jr. disappeared back in 1977, almost 40 years ago. This cold case recently started to get lots of attention when an anonymous letter sent to Ross’ parents in Portland, Maine, claims to know where he is.
Maine State Police told the Portland Press Herald his parents received the letter “a few months ago” but didn’t go into more detail. Police are asking whoever wrote the letter to come forward. I hope someone steps forward to help give this poor family some closure.
Jeni’s thoughts on this article:
Dang…..what turmoil his poor parents have gone through. I wish there was more to the story, really. They got a letter in the mail, but the police aren’t releasing the letter or details of it, so we don’t know what it says. It will be interesting if it pans out to be true….but I’m just sad for the sweet couple that had to go through the process of a missing son, accepting that he was dead, eventually, without finding a body, and now this. UGH!
