Now….refill that coffee and let’s get to chatting with our Morning Coffee!
Archie McPhee makes some awesome, weird, fun and seriously silly stuff. I (Sarah) love that site, because there’s always something new! I’ve tried all of their crazy candy cane flavors – including clam and mac & cheese! Of course, they aren’t tasty by any means. They literally taste exactly like the name indicates – which makes them gross in candy cane form! BUT they are really fun to gift 🙂
The three newest flavors are really out there – Kale, Pizza, and Hamdy Canes. Gross, right? Still, a fun gift or gag for anyone who loves those things!!
Which ones would you try?
Fandom is easy for me (Jeni), because I fall in love very easily with TV shows and movie characters! 🙂 This cool gal, Brittnee Bade decided to create fictional “meal kit” from fan-favorite books, movies and TV shows! They are so funny!
Here are my favorites, although there are 10 in all that you can see HERE!
- Fire Roasted Dragon Wings from Long Night In Meal Kits (Game of Thrones)
- Potter’s Pumpkin Pasty Pack from Hogwarts at Home (Harry Potter)
- Eggo Brinner from Hungry Hawkins Meal Kits (Stranger Things)
Check them out and let us know your favorite!
These Care Bear (knockoff, of course, since they can’t actually claim they are “Care Bears” T-Shirts are so cute!!! Grab a “Cute Bear” t-shirt for only $14.99 in 9 colors and designs! Stinkin’ CUTE!
Did you hear about this!? More than 3,000 teenagers in Glasgow, Scotland wanted to play hide-n-seek in Ikea! It’s the perfect place, isn’t it? Apparently the group was organized on Facebook… and the cops shut it down at the store. But dang, if Ikea jumped on that and allowed it – that would be amazing!
Where would you like to play hide-n-seek?
How fun are these costumes…. for Halloween or otherwise!? 😉 You can become one of those silly, dancing, weird inflatables when you put on this inflatable guy tube costume. It’s pretty creative, isn’t it? I (Jeni) would probably fall over constantly! 🙂
Do you dress up for Halloween?
Here’s something a little bit different that is actually pretty cool – a ceramic bunny flower vase! The flowers go in the ears of the bunny. But what I (Sarah) really like is the size. It’s nice and small – not overwhelming like some vases are!
Do you have fresh flowers in your home?
Check out this AWESOME Halloween house!! The Griffith family in Kenova, West Virginia goes ALL OUT. They decorate every year with 3,000 pumpkin in front of their house. Yep. Ric Griffith is the former mayor, and he puts out one carved jack-o-lantern for every resident of the town. See and read more HERE!
Do you go overboard when you decorate for Halloween?
Isn’t that ADORABLE!? This Sloth to-do list is perfect for those that take their sweet time. My (Jeni) boyfriend could certainly get some help from this list, because he takes FOREVER to get things done! 🙂 Plus, it’s super fun with the cute categories like the mood, rate your day and to-do (after a nap)!
How do you keep your appointments and schedules?
Nacho Pie – it’s quick, easy and genuine comfort food! Who doesn’t love comfort food, right!? Plus, you might be surprised by the very few ingredients. Plus, it’s more like a pizza nacho pie than the classic Mexican nacho pie!
What’s on the menu tonight for you?
Don’t forget to join us every Wednesday evening at 4pm EST for Happy Hour!

Ok those candy canes are just a little to weird for me I think lol. But I love the rabbit flower holder, how it comes out the ears is adorable!
That rabbit is SO STINKIN CUTE!
Oh my gosh those candy canes look disgusting LOL. It would definitely make a good Gag gift!. I definitely also think I am going to be making that taco pie. Oh my gosh does that look good.
HAHAHAHAH!!!!
I love that inflatable guy costume. So funny.
Also, I feel like I need those bacon candy canes. They probably taste horrid, but still. Bacon.
Oh that recipe looks so good. I am going to make that tonight. And I just don’t ‘know what to say about the Halloween house.
My boys would love to try these strange candy cane flavors. I will pass on those flavors.
I am sorry but I think I would puke trying some of those candy canes. Sure, the colors are pretty but that is about it!!
Pizza candy canes, wow… I would just have to try those. My curiosity is there already!
Wow! The Griffith family in Kenova, West Virginia is surely having a blast! Their house is really awesome with all those pumpkins outside.
I heard about the kale candy canes, I did not hear about pizza ones though. I am still on the fence, but the pizza candy canes would be my choice if I picked one of the three new flavors. As for the costumes? Those are so simple, almost could make it from a sheet at home – just paint it and cut hole in it? No. not really. I don’t dress up for Halloween, but I did put a Jigsaw face paint thing on my face last year to try to “dress up” when we took the kids out for trick or treating 😉
IKEA hide n seek would be challenging but so fun! Those inflatable guys crack me up.
I love all these colorful candy canes. I am so curious to taste those weird flavors!
I don’t decorate for Halloween, but I love seeing houses that are elaborately decorated for Halloween. There’s a famous street here in the city where most of the houses really go overboard.
Omg those “Care Bear” shirts are everything!! I think my sis would love these – she was obsessed as a kid!
We go overboard at Halloween because my husband loves to build animatronics. I wish we had the time to do more pumpkin carving, but usually stop at lucky 13.
Nacho pie looks delicious, but I have to say that I think Emma has a great plan!
I have seen those candy canes but I don’t have the guts to even try them. I should get my daughter the pickle-flavored ones since she loves pickles.
That mayor is so awesome to honor the townsfolk every year with their own pumpkin! I actually know someone who would probably enjoy all of those candy cane flavors, especially the pickle one. Me? I’ll pass LOL
I am amazed at all of the different flavors of candy canes that are out there today. I’ve tried a few and there are some that I wouldn’t dare try at all. THe pickle candy canes would be perfect for expecting moms. hahha
I had never heard of those candy canes, I’m not sure that I would want to try any of them lol
I love the meme about the seasons. Definitely defines me, I am all about the Fall. Such a great post. I love morning coffee!
I love how you got my mind going reading all these articles at once on one page! I’m glad others wrote on this page or I would not have. I am a Diabetic and there’s a lot of times that things taste weird to me. So I would not try any of those flavors. I absolutely agree with your logic on the seasons. Well put! I don’t dress up for Halloween and my kids didn’t go to many Halloween’s, because I changed my views on it. I love your reference on how you are broke! Well done and hilarious ???? I hope that I am commenting on the right page! I pinned this! Thank you for sharing!
