Ghostbusters is one of my (Jeni) all time favorite movies.  It’s from the ’80s – which means I love it!  I didn’t see the 2006 remake movie, because I don’t really like when movies change up too much.  However, I’m pretty excited to see the new Ghostbusters sequel!!  YEP!  There’s a sequel coming!

It’s gonna be called, “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” and is supposed to premiere on July 10, 2020 (that’s fairly soon!!). And guess what-  Bill Murray is coming back as Peter Venkman!!!  Plus, Dan Aykroyd (Ray Stanz) and Ernie Hudson (Winston) will be back in this one, too.  Unfortunately, the 4th Ghostbuster, Harold Ramis (who played Egon) died is 2014.

SYNOPSISGhostbusters: Afterlife follows single mom Callie (Carrie Coon) and her children Trevor (Finn Wolfhard) and Phoebe (Mckenna Grace), who begin to suspect paranormal activity after moving into an old farmhouse in Oklahoma. It picks up 36 years after the events of the original Ghostbusters.

Are you excited for this new Ghostbusters? Do you like sequels?

I (Sarah)  have been obsessed with Hello Kitty and other Sanrio characters since my childhood. Little did I know there was a Sanrio themed theme park in Tokyo! With parades, shows, and character meet n greets, this is one theme park I would love to visit. Read more about it HERE!

And while we are on the subject of Hello Kitty, World Market now sells a mystery Sanrio snack box filled with snacks.  And I need it.  I don’t just WANT this box of goodies… I NEED it! 🙂 Everything is so pink and pretty and yummy looking in there!

What is your dream theme park trip?

If you are obsessed with Fun Dip like I (Sarah) am, you are going to love this Bob Ross painting candy kit. It comes with a paintbrush that you dip into three delicious flavors. I believe I just found the perfect replacement for Fun Dip! 🙂

What is your favorite candy?

AHHHHH! Nature is so cool!  Have you heard of the Yosemite Firefall?  It’s a phenomenon that’s created at the moment the setting sun casts its light on Horsetail Fall, a waterfall on the east side of El Capitan. Looking at it at the right time, it looks like flowing lava or a waterfall of fire! It’s quite a trek to see it – but you can keep reading about it and find out how to see it HERE!

What’s the coolest natural feature you’ve ever seen?

Are you a sock person? I (Sarah) ALWAYS wear socks! I found these really fun Candy Socks! They represent different popular candy brands. There are two different sets – I need both 🙂

Do you like wearing socks or being barefoot?

Disney+ is creating a new live action + CGI movie… and it’s Lilo & Stitch!!  That sounds pretty fun, doesn’t it?  Filming starts fall of 2020 in Hawaii.  The Stitch voice actor will be coming back to voice the CGI alien character… but no word on any other actors yet. Read more and keep up with updates HERE!

What Disney movie would you like to see go live action?

If you were a kid in the ’90s, you’ll totally remember Goosebumps  books!  R. L. Stine definitely turned up the spookiness for tweens and teens (and kids even younger!) during that decade. And guess what?  You can get a Goosebumps book collection (20 books!) so you can get your own kids started on the obsession… or relive your own childhood 🙂

What were your favorite books when you were a kid?

Cheeseburger Soup is on! 🙂  Actually, throw some bacon on top, and you have a bacon cheeseburger soup! In about an hour, in one pot, you’ll have this amazing soup – although you could probably make it faster in your Instant Pot!  It’s absolutely AMAZING and I (Jeni) have made this several times!

What’s your favorite soup to make at home?
