If you’re anything like me (Sarah), then you LOVE chocolate.  It feeds my soul. 🙂  So when I heard about this chocolate cruise…you know it got my attention! It’s an 8-day mediterranean cruise dedicated entirely to CHOCOLATE!  It’s called The Eurochocolate Cruise and it’s thanks to the collaboration of Italian line Costa Cruises and the Eurochocolate Festival.

Here are the highlights:

  • Sets sail April 16, 2020 in Civitavecchia, Italy and docks along the route in Genoa, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Malta and Catania.
  • Master Classes led by famed chocolate artisans Guido Gobino, Enric Rovira and Pierpaolo Ruta
  • Special tasting sessions, some of which pair an assortment of chocolate confections paired with wines and Mediterranean dishes
  • An overall chocolate-infused onboard dining experience, consisting of tailor-made food and cocktail offerings, and featuring original menus like “Tutto Cacao” or “Choco Aperitivo”
  • Exclusive and engaging show-cooking sessions with the famous food blogger Sonia Peronaci of Giallo Zafferano.
  • Daily, chocolate-centric excursions at each new port, including a visit to the Chocolate Museum of Barcelona
  • Presentations by chocolate experts that reveal all the secrets of “The Food of the Gods”
  • Chocolate- and pastry-making classes, workshops and laboratories led by master chocolatiers

Who’s in!? 😉 You can read more and sign yourself up… if you can read Italian HERE!

Have you ever been on a cruise?

Are you a Gilmore Girls fan?  I (Jeni) totally love that show and have rewatched the series multiple times.  LOVE me some Gilmore Girls!  So, the Warner Bros. backlot in Burbank, California turns into Stars Hollow between December 21 – January 5th.  And they will have a tour planned, too – a trip to Lorelai’s house, Stars Hollow High, Luke’s Diner, and the gazebo.  How cool is that?

So… if you’re a fan, AND will be in California during that time… there you go! For the rest of us, we’ll just be sitting here dreaming about it 🙂

  4. Checking out some of the familiar Gilmore Girls locations would be so cool. Their town always had such a personality!

  5. That chocolate cruise looks like so much fun! There’s nothing better than exploring fun new places, plus having delicious food while you do it!

  6. The lazy snowman is too funny! The plush comfy slippers and lettering book is definitely on my wish list.

That 73 year old woman is truly inspiring! She just proved to everyone that getting back into the pink of health is possible – no matter what age you’re in.

  19. A chocolate cruise?! OMG, can you take me with you pretty please? 🙂 I can just imagine all the chocolate goodies. Yum!

  20. Joan’s story is so amazing! Truly shows it does not matter what age you are, you can make changes that matter. Just lately I was getting flack from people for making healthy changes. I now realize I am not too old, nor is the flack I received about me and more on what other people are not willing to do for themselves. Also, I must say I WISH I was in California so I could go to Star’s Hallow over Christmas! I am a HUGE Gilmore girls fan!

  21. Seeing holiday decorations either in person or over the internet give me cheers. The smell of Christmas trees and holiday cookies are one of my favorites!

  22. LOL I’m going to have to put the “I was fartled” quote on a t-shirt for my dad. He’ll definitely get a good kick out of it

  23. So I think I need to go get a passport and travel so I can go on The Eurochocolate Cruise! I mean… Chocolate!

  24. I love those Christmas tree shirts! And I would love to go on a chocolate cruise. Of all the sweets, chocolate is my favorite.

  25. My kids could use one of those Legos! I would love to go on a chocolate cruise. It sounds fun!

  26. Go to Stars Hollow?! Yes, please. That would be such a blast. I’ve watched every episode of Gilmore Girls!!

  27. That chocolate looks delicious and those bread slippers made me laugh.
