Fashion Week is not something I (Jeni) am even remotely interested in. However, this is pretty hilarious – because some of the models were wearing these “pedestal shoes” – shaped like dolphins leaping over waves. It just made the ridiculous fashions even more silly to me! 🙂
Are you a fan of Paris Fashion Week?
Ohhhhhh, yah! I (Jeni) could spend all day on these pretty little ladies! I totally want to go roller skating now. Doesn’t that sound like a BLAST!? Roller rinks aren’t very popular anymore….but I could totally go for an ICEE, crappy hot dog, and getting my boogy on while rolling around under a disco light! I was shopping for inline skates, and found these AWESOME Roller Skates for adults. I think I’m in love!
Would you rock some roller skates?

That classic Libby’s pumpkin pie recipe we all know and love will never change. It’s been around for 75 years! BUT WAIT – it has changed! White Russian Milkshake. Nothing beats a delicious milkshake, especially with liquor in it. 😉 White Russians are my (Jeni) favorite cocktails. I LOVE them! But a White Russian Milkshake? I’m sold… especially since it’s still in the 90s here in Dallas, Texas!

This Cotton Candy Margarita is right up my (Sarah) alley, that’s for sure! Such The Spot even has a great video to show you how to make it! Cream soda, orange liqueur, tequila, cotton candy…. oh yah, I’m on it!

I (Jeni) am incredibly ticklish. Like, VERY ticklish. You can touch my leg, and there’s a 50% chance I’ll cringe and pull back because you accidentally tickled me. So I REALLY hate when people purposefully tickle me. Just because my natural reaction is to laugh, does NOT mean I’m having fun or loving it!
I can’t help but laugh – it’s seriously a major flaw in the human body, I think. It sends the WRONG message. It isn’t fun, it doesn’t feel good and it isn’t funny. My laughing is involuntary. I can’t stand being tickled, and if it’s done to me on purpose, I am NOT responsible for your injuries.

I (Sarah) have some crazy food allergies. It’s not even worth getting into the details, because it will blow your mind. Needless to say, I have food allergies, and it’s a HUGE pain in the butt! I can easily adapt to eating new things, but when you’re limited in choices, that starts getting difficult.
The hardest part is when companies change their ingredients, but don’t report it. Most people wouldn’t know…but my body… it knows. And it makes me so mad that companies can get away with that! GRRRRRR!

I had a pair of pink/white roller skates growing up. Until I was about 13, I didn’t skate a ton but after that, it was an obsession until I graduated high school. I’ve been skating as an adult but had to hang up the skates permanently due to health issues. It makes me sad and some of my best memories were made at the rink.
Lots of fun stuff! Those chicken bites remind me of Chik Fil A nuggets. I also love rollerskating and miss the days of going to the indoor parks.
After seeing that delicious slice of Libby’s pumpkin pie, I’m craving a slice so badly right now! And those little chicken bites are a family favorite over here. The kids all love them, and the adults as well!

I took my kids roller skating a few weeks ago, and let me tell you…it is not like riding a bike! I was TERRIBLE! But those skates are so darn cute, I’m willing to relearn.
