My grandma was awesome. She was a badass in the kitchen, she was a diehard Lakers fan, she thought Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) was about the sexiest man alive. And her hugs would make you melt. She was also a little weird… which is clearly where I got it from! She said when she was younger, she and her sisters would dip potato chips in melted chocolate with butter for a salty/sweet treat. I substituted peanut butter and added sprinkles, and WOW! These are so much fun and SO good!
WHAT YOU NEED:
- 3 – 7 cups potato chips (I use wavy)
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter (I use honey peanut butter)
- sprinkles (optional)
MAKE THEM:
Prep a mini muffin pan with cute holiday cupcake liners.
Spray lightly with butter flavored cooking oil or Pam.
In a medium bowl, add peanut butter and chocolate chips. Microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring each time until completely smooth.
Add in handfuls of chips and coat with the chocolate mixture. Use your hands or a spatula. The chips will crumble, and that’s ok! They need to fit into the cupcake liners!
Continue adding more chips until you have the desired consistency of coverage.
Using your hands (this gets messy), grab little chunks of the mixture and place in cupcake liners.
Top with festive sprinkles, mini chocolate chips, sea salt or any other fun goodies you want.
Place in fridge and allow to set at least 40 minutes.

Jeni’s Disclaimer: I’m just a regular girl. I love to drink wine while I bake. I’m by no means a professional baker or pro photographer. My creations aren’t staged, they just are what they are, and that’s probably obvious from the pictures. I create my recipes from inspiration of scents and flavors around me. I also repurpose my grandma’s old recipes. If you love to bake and your food ends up looking like REAL food, and not like something you’ll see on Instagram, you’re in the right place.
