Baked Apple Chicken Sausage & Veggies Recipe

How about something fresh and fun for dinner tonight?  If you have never tried chicken sausage, this is a great recipe to dive into, and it’s so quick and simple to make, too!  Your family will have a delicious, healthier meal in less than 30 minutes – something every parent can appreciate!  This is also a great recipe for smaller families or single people, because you decide the measurements, based on how many people will be enjoying it.  Add some of your favorite veggies to this dish, that will compliment the apple chicken sausage – like onions, squash, zucchini and kale!

Apple Chicken Sausage
Broccoli
Baby Carrots
Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper to taste

Baked Apple Chicken Sausage & Veggies

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Cut up sausage into bite-sized pieces, and brown on the stove, in a medium sized pan, with olive oil.

Chop fresh broccoli into bite-sized pieces.  Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil, and place veggies and sausage on it. Drizzle olive oil to coat, and sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.  Bake for 15 minutes or until it reaches your desired tenderness.

    Memories ………… I had something like this at a friends years ago and it was so good. I think I will make this and see if its close to my memories

  3. You almost don’t need any added oils because the sausage may produce enough oil for the whole dish.
