Now….refill that coffee and let’s get to chatting with our Morning Coffee!
Good morning, friends! So, as you all know, I (Jeni) am an avid vintage toy collector. I collect toys from the 80s that I had or wanted – like Strawberry Shortcakes, Herself the Elf, Care Bears, Rainbow Brite…. Anyway, I had totally forgotten about one toy that I absolutely LOVED when I was a kit, until someone on Instagram reminded me about it. Knickerbocker Dolly Pops! They were popular in the late ’70s – early ’80s.
Did you have these? Ohhhhh I loved them! They were cut little plastic dolls with soft “hair” pigtails – there was a blond, brunette, and redhead, and they came in 3 different models for each (each had different underwear on). The scenes had clothes that snapped on the front of the doll to dress them. There was even a town scene and a moving stage for modeling! SO FUN! I’m thinking of starting to collect them, too…. 🙂
What was your favorite toy from the 80s?
This is hilarious! I (Sarah) just learned about the flagship Taco Bell in Las Vegas. It’s really a Taco Bell unlike any other, and has a TON of extra cool stuff and perks. Read more about that HERE. But the BEST part of it – you can order a WEDDING right off the menu! Apparently, this isn’t new (it’s been going since 2017) but it’s new to me! 🙂
You can totally get married at this Vegas Taco Bell for $600. Plus, it’s open 24 hours! The $600 wedding package includes Taco Bell champagne flutes, “Just Married” t-shirts, a Taco Bell bow tie and garter, a Cinnabon Delights wedding cake and a wedding bouquet made of sauce packets. The package also includes a full ceremony and officiant. Your first meal as Mr. and Mrs. will be a Taco 12-Pack.
Read more about it and see more pictures HERE!
If you HAD to be married at a fast food joint, which would you pick?
This adorable Apron Set is only $16.52 – for all three items! That’s a score for a cute apron, oven mitt and pot holder!
I (Sarah) really don’t even know what to say about this awesome Parrot Mug! Ok, I DO know what to say – it’s AWESOME! I love how unique and colorful it is! LOVING IT!
Do you have a fun coffee or tea mug?
How great is this little quick and easy guide to instant peace and calm!? It’s from Sue Crites, and comes as GREAT reminders for every day life, for everyone! See more of her great advice HERE!
How do you relax?
Now this is a weird little idea… but it’s cool! It’s The CrunchCup – It’s a way to eat cereal on the go with no bowl or spoon. There are two cups in it – one for milk and one for the cereal. Each cup has its own hold so the cereal and milk don’t meet until they hit your mouth. Interesting!
What’s your favorite on-the-go breakfast food?
It’s fall (even if it doesn’t feel like it to some of us)… which means winter is coming soon and that means bubble baths! 🙂 Relaxing in a hot tub on a cold day is the BEST! But then I (Jeni) found this awesome non-slip bamboo bathtub tray! It’s got all kinds of awesome little features – check it out!
What do you like to do on cold days?
KFC has to be the most clever fast food joint EVER! They always have fun stuff going on! Now, they are testing two new menu items: the Kentucky Fried Chicken & Donuts Sandwich and the Kentucky Fried Chicken & Donut Basket meal. This is only available in the Norfolk, Virginia area, Richmond, Virginia area, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area for a limited time. Hopefully they will come everywhere soon!
What’s your favorite menu item at KFC?
I (Sarah) am not a big fan of mushrooms, but this recipe has me drooling enough to try it! It’s Moo Shoo Mushroom Wraps and don’t they look yummy? It features broccoli cole slaw mix and flavors like Sriracha chili sauce, ginger root, and hoisin sauce.
What’s your favorite Chinese dish?
Don’t forget to join us every Wednesday evening at 4pm EST for Happy Hour!

I can’t stop staring at that crunch cup. It’s so weird, yet a part of me wants to try having my cereal on the go.
Right!?!?! I feel the same way!
The crunch cup is such a cool idea. One of my favorite breakfast foods is overnight oats. Perfect for grab and go.
I thought it was WEIRD at first, but grew to love the idea!
Those are fun condiment packets. Imagine being on a first date with someone and these packets are being used. Talk about all sorts of mixed signals, LOL!
BAHAHHAHA!
I love cereal! This is totally going to happen just so that I can run my errands and still eat my cereal all the same time.
Isn’t it clever?!
I love that poster that is so calming, I need that every once in a while. Unfortunately I am already married so i don’t have to go to Taco Bell but that quicky marriage looks like fun.
LOVE IT!
That taco bell wedding idea is so unique. I guess anything truly is possible in Vegas lol.
I’d be more likely to choose the Taco Bell wedding over an Elvis wedding. It’d be a difficult decision for my husband who is an Elvis fanatic. LOL
HA! Same here!!! 🙂 That’s too funny!!
That calmness infographic is going to come in help with me–things are starting to get crazy with the holidays looming!
YESSSSS everyone can use it!
I would so get married at Vegas Taco Bell. I love eating there 😉 Granted, I am already married, so we’d maybe do a vow renewal.
I hope they start making that donut chicken sandwich at KFC!
HAHA! OMG That’s so cute!
That is new to me, too! Honestly, though. I can’t think of a better marriage than a Taco Bell marriage.
McDonald’s, girl! In the play land! LOL With Grimace as the judge!
The taco bell wedding looks so fun. I like that they give you tacos for your reception.
HAHAHA! YESSSSSSS!
I have no idea if I love or hate the idea of the crunch cup – but I want to try it to find out. I love the parrot cup though I would definitely have that!
BAHAHAHA I totally feel the same about the cup!
I am loving that coffee cup and also that cup with the cereal and milk in it! I wish I had time to relax and take more baths. The mushroom tacos look really good, I have never made anything like that but want to give it a try!
I want that apron set! Blue is my favorite color. I love my Taco Bell as well! I don’t think I’d like that new one though. I’m just a plain old taco kind of girl.
I would totally cry if my pizza fell out of the box too! That is mega tragedy! I love collecting vintage toys too!
You literally have me in tears right now. Dolly Pops were my FAVORITE toy when I was a kid. I had totally forgotten about them until I looked at that picture.
Crunch cup? LOL, I think there is a place in this world for a crunch cup. Not for me so much, but for all those cereal lovers out there.
Those mushroom wraps do look good! We have been using fresh slaw in wraps with hummus. It makes sense that it makes for a good stir fry.
Only in Vegas can you get married at a Taco Bell. I wonder how many people actually have done that. It would be Tim Hortons for me if that can be classified as fast food.
What a fun roundup! That cereal mug cracks me up. I love cereal and eat more than I should. And what a pretty apron.
I love that bathtub tray! I think it’s a great holiday gift idea. And that apron set is super cute!
That parrot mug is so fun and it would be perfect as a Christmas gift for y son! I am sure he will love it!
I like the parrot mug it so beautiful and I will definitely enjoy drinking my cup of coffee when I have this, aside from that the Moo Shoo Mushroom Wraps looks really delicious, I will try to make that at home.
agree with you about the parrot mug!
I had never heard of Knickerbocker Dolly Pops but I’ll have to ask my mother-in-law about it. She loves toys from the 80s.
You should ask, for sure!
I am sure the chicken donut sandwich tastes good. I just don’t know that I could handle it.
That apron set is really cute and every year I hope for a nice bathtub tray for Christmas. Dropping a pizza would make me cry too!
I would love to try the crunch cup!
