So last night, I (Jeni) decided to get out of the house for a bit and walk around the mall. I love the mall, so that’s always a fun time for me 🙂 Anyway, as we were walking, I noticed these signs all over the place for some Peppa Pig World of Play thing. It was WELL advertised! Apparently it’s open, however, it was closed when I walked by it. I know how much kids seem to LOVE Peppa Pig… my 5-year-old niece is absolutely obsessed with that pig. I don’t get it, but then again – I’m not 5 years old.
Anyway, it’s this play world that’s only open now in Dallas/Fort Worth and Michigan (and Shanghai). They have 14 themed areas designed just for preschool aged kids. It’s all very obnoxious and silly to me… even though I’m a big kid. In my day, I would have FREAKED OUT over a Rainbow Brite or Care Bears World of Play area. Actually, let’s be honest. I’d freak out NOW if they had those! 🙂
Are your kids obsessed with Peppa Pig?
Have you heard of Grace Beauty? It’s a company that makes beauty accessories that are disability- friendly mascara wand add-ons! They make putting makeup on easier for everyone – which I (Sarah) think is really, really cool. These products are set to start shipping on June 3rd and they are introducing three different mascara wand grips that are designed for people with physical disabilities. They are pictured above. Aren’t they clever? Plus, each is only $10.54 – which is surprisingly cheap! I love when companies really branch out and realize that we are not all the same and some women have challenges others may not. This is really cool.
Have you encountered a company that REALLY seems to care?
If you’re an office supply and pen fan, like we are, you’ll love this deal! This BIC Intensity Ultra Fine Print Permanent Markers 12-pack is just $7.14 when you apply the coupon on the page at checkout! SWEET! This is normally over $15, so you’re saving a sweet bundle!
If you’re a Game of Thrones fan, you won’t need an explanation 🙂 It’s around $10, too!
How cool are these Guitar Wall Hooks!? They are so unique and perfect for the music lover, for sure.
Eleven bucks for 22 cookie cutters that fit into each other. Why is that cool? First, it’s an awesome price. Secondly, you can create shapes within shapes in your cookies or brownies or cakes! This is totally on my (Jeni) wishlist now!
Elf on a Shelf is super duper popular during the holidays. But there hasn’t really been much for other holidays that brings as much excitement for the kiddos, right? Until now, at least! This is Peep on a Perch. And it’s totally Easter-worthy!
The storybook, perfect for boys and girls ages 3 to 7, tells how the Easter Peep assists the Easter Bunny every year. The adorable Easter Peep helps decorate eggs and fill baskets, and sees all the acts of kindness a child does in the days and weeks leading up to Easter. The soft plush Easter Peep included in the set can be perched anywhere throughout the home. Children will be proud to have the Easter Peep watch them being good all day as they get ready for bed without making a fuss, help out around the house, and use good manners. And the more kindness the Easter Peep sees, the happier the Easter Peep gets!
What fun traditions do you have for Easter?
This silicone ice cube tray of the United States is cool as it is -but think of it as a candy tray, too! You could totally use this for ice, but also for making fun chocolates or candy, as well! It’s a great way to help kids learn geography, too, so you could even use wax or crayons to create the shapes. It really has so many uses and is too cool!
How would you use a USA silicone mold?
These are THE CUTEST little horses ever. I (Jeni) have several Piccoli Horses that lay on my bed, and I find myself using them as pillows because they are so fluffy and soft (and of course, cute!). They are perfect for kids (or weird adults like me that love stuffed animals), plus there’s a free Piccoli app that helps kids with language skills. Win-win-WIN! This was my absolute favorite product of 2018!
Do your kids have favorite stuffed animals?
The Post Office might be struggling, but they are still churning out some fun stamps! There’s a brand new line that celebrates 50 years of Sesame Street. 50 YEARS!? – phew! Anyway, there are 16 new stamps in the collection including Big Bird, Bert, Ernie, Cookie Monster, Oscar the Grouch, Snuffleupagus, Grover, Abby Cadabby, The Count, Rosita, Zoe and Elmo. How fun!
Oh, and there are also some new T. Rex and spooky silhouettes stamps coming soon, too! Read the press release HERE.
Do you still use USPS stamps to mail packages and letters?
These have to be some of the cutest earrings EVER! They are from a company called Unpossible Cuts and are about $14 each – but they are all laser cut on wood, nickel-free and stainless steel, and SO STINKING CUTE! There are TONS of styles, from cute animals like hedgehogs and llamas to funny things like the Luchador wrestler and Bob Ross, and food like tacos or cookies and milk! Check them out – you’ll fall in love like I (Jeni) did!
Did you spot any cute pairs you’d like!?
Think of these Fort Worth Eggrolls as southwest eggrolls. They are absolutely amazing and SUPER flavorful! You can really customize them by changing the meat and cheese or adding in spiciness with jalapeño. Plus, it’s something unique, fun and different for your family.
What would you put in your southwest eggrolls?
