Toy Story 4 is coming out on June 21st!  I (Sarah) am a huge fan and very excited about the new Toy Story movie!  It’s probably because I have toys and am just really a big kid at heart 🙂  Check out the newly released official Toy Story 4 trailer and then watch it again (and again) like I just did!  AHHHHH!  It’s so much fun!

Are you going to watch the new Toy Story movie?

This weekend, Bryan and I (Jeni) took off to my favorite toy store: Toy Base 10, in Oklahoma City.  It’s an easy and fun 3 hour drive and absolutely, totally worth it.  I actually told you all about it last year when I went – check it out on Morning Coffee HERE!  Anyway, on the way there, we stopped at this amazing little 1950s diner called Boom-a-rang.  It’s an Oklahoma exclusive, and they are scattered throughout the state.  But for us, it was a new experience.

It was SO worth trying something new.  The walls were covered in cool 1950s pictures, the music reminded me of something you would hear at a sock hop, the staff was super sweet, and the food was perfect. It was like the kind of food you crave, but just can’t make it that good at home.  I got a club sandwich and fries, and it was exactly what I was hoping for, that’s for sure!  I loved it and it’s our new g0-to place in Norman, Oklahoma or when we travel up there!

Do you ever try new, little restaurants on your travels?

Aquaman comes out tomorrow!  You can preorder it now for just $24.95!

These are too cool- Querkles.  This Animals Querkles is only $10, and the concept is so cool!

More sensational, quirky coloring puzzles from the best-selling author of the 1000 Dot-to-Dot series, Thomas Pavitte! Reveal 20 animal faces within the circles using pencils, paints, markers, or any coloring medium you choose. These entertaining portraits of whimsical wildlife, beautiful birds, funny frogs, foxes, and more can be removed and displayed when finished. Monochrome or multicolored, the concept is as easy as a child’s book, but the results are nothing short of astounding!

If you or someone you know is a guitar player, this little item is a sweet find for you!  It’s a guitar pick holder key chain! It’s only about 10 bucks, which makes it affordable AND useful!

This is a 5-pack of Mickey Mouse Cookie Cutters and I (Sarah) am in love!  They show pictures of cut-out Rice Krispies Treats, which are really cute, but you could also use them for cookies or brownies or a ton of other fun things, too.  The pack is just $4.43, too!

OMG these are hilarious!  If you know a pizza, burger or donut lover – these would make great gifts! These are Calhoun Novelty Food Throws and they are cracking me (Sarah) up right now!  They really are pretty realistic, too!  I would like onion rings in blanket form 🙂

What junk food would you like to have in blanket form?

Neither of us has ever watched the show Supernatural, but we’ve heard of it.  And we just found out that after 15 years – a record breaking 15 years, it’s ending.  Apparently, they are going into the 15th season right now, and will then call it quits.  15 years.  WOW!  That’s impressive!

Are you a Supernatural fan?

Have you ever heard of Thug Kitchen?  It’s an LA-based duo of authors that started their website to help people get to a better eating lifestyle that’s healthier. They are foul-mouthed and hilarious (if you like that kinda humor!) and have several cookbooks that don’t waste any time getting hilarious and in your face!  Check them out!

What are your favorite cookbooks?

This right here is fascinating! I (Sarah) was shocked by several of these! They are photos that “reveal the unseen side of things.”  Like the above pictured tiger’s shaved skin or reporter’s back.  But they also show things like auroras on different planets, square starfish, albino raccoons, an empty Boeing 787, the inside of a space suit… you just have to go HERE to check them out! I promise it’s worth it!

What’s the most interesting “unseen” thing you’ve seen lately?

AHHHHH!  Unicorns! UNICORNS!  Check out this super adorable and fun family craft – it’s Yarn Unicorns!  This is made for kids 8 and up, and looks pretty simple.  Plus, those finished products are just too cute!

Do you ever do family crafts?

These Taco Pizza Squares are 5 ingredients and take less than 30 minutes to make.  I (Sarah) am attempting my hand again in the kitchen (pray I don’t burn anything down!) tonight and making these yummy treats!  We love tacos. We love pizza.  It just makes sense!

What are your favorite few-ingredient meals?

Don’t forget to join us every Wednesday evening at 4pm EST for Happy Hour!

    • Jeni Hawkins Reply

I’ve never seen any of them – can you believe that!?

  5. Supernatural coming to an end makes me a sad panda, but knowing that they decided to quit for their family time rather than them being cancelled makes me feel much better about the whole thing.

  6. Love those cookie cutters! Everyone needs cookie cutters shaped like Mickey!

    • Jeni Hawkins Reply

I agree with you there! EVERYONE needs those! I wanna use them and make some fun mini cakes!

  7. I watch supernatural so am really sad to see it ending. Fifteen years is a long time for a show to be on and I will miss watching.

  8. I am so ready for Toy Story 4! I’ll be seeing it with my kids for sure. I know I’ll probably shed a tear. Or two.

I have no desire to see Aquaman though. It’s just not my kind of movie.

    • Jeni Hawkins Reply

It’s funny because I LOVE Jason Momoa, but agree with you – no desire to see Aquaman, either!

  9. Kerrie Mendoza Reply

Looking forward to owning Aquaman, since I wasn’t able to catch it in theaters. I’ve heard it’s pretty good for DC.
How cute are those cookie cutters? Amazing price too!

    • Jeni Hawkins Reply

I heard that it was amazing!
And I totally agree on the cookie cutters!

  10. I love color-by-number books! I’d almost forgotten about these. They remind me of the magic of childhood! And those Thug Cookbooks really caught my attention!

    • Jeni Hawkins Reply

HAHA! Right? These are just a bit upgraded color by numbers!

I would love the donut blanket so much! They got all my 3 fave foods on blankets–totally awesome!!

  14. I love an old diner! I know the food isn’t anything special. But I just love the greasy food and smell of coffee flowing in the kitchen. And my kids are so excited for Toy Story 4!

    • Jeni Hawkins Reply

I couldn’t agree more on the old diner description!

  15. I have to get a food throw in popcorn. I am always cold at the movies, I could bring my food throw and look like a bag of popcorn all at the same time.

  16. That is a ton of equipment on a reporter’s back. It is amazing their clothes fit so nicely.

  17. katrina kroeplin Reply

  19. I need those Mickey Mouse cookie cutters in my life!! Also, I don’t want to watch the trailer without my husband so I am saving that for later this evening – wee!

  20. Oh my goodness! Those blankets crack me up. I’m afraid I’ll start eating them once I get hungry while snuggling on the couch. LOL.

  21. I can’t start my day without a cup of coffee it becomes my early routine already. I can’t wait for the new toy story movie I am not aware there is part 4 on this that would be exciting.

  22. I really need to try that taco pizza, it looks amazing. Maybe for dinner tonight!

  23. I know a couple of Disney fans who would love those cookie cutters, but they probably already have them. My niece loves Supernatural, she’s going to be sad that it is over.
