I, Jeni, was sent a Society6 Night Waterlily by Do a Linh Duvet Cover to review.
Oh my goodness, this comforter is absolutely gorgeous! I was super excited when it arrived, because I knew that I was getting something really special. It’s an ultra soft microfiber duvet cover, that really is soft and comfortable! So many duvet covers can be itchy or too heavy, but this one was just the right weight on my comforter, and held it in place really well, with a nice, snug fit. It’s hand sewn, and that’s evident in the quality. The time and care it took to make it are not only appreciated, but I know my duvet will last a really long time, even after washing it over the years. It’s also machine washable, by the way, which makes it super easy to care for and launder. There’s a hidden zipper that’s really strong and durable, and I love that it’s hidden, because I always hate scratching myself in the middle of the night as I move around in bed.
The scene on this duvet is absolutely gorgeous. It’s dark and peaceful, and the water theme is super tranquil. It’s the perfect work of art to have on a duvet cover! The shades of blues and greens are complimented with some pale yellow, all placed over a soft black background. This design is seriously comforting and make me feel safe and sleepy at the same time. The reverse side of it is white, which is fun and contrasting to the dark water lily pond scene on the front. I absolutely love this duvet! The artist clearly took a lot of time in creating his masterpiece, because the colors he picked and the layout of the design is dark, yet a soft and pale dark, so it’s not too harsh on the eyes.
